College Oppourtunities are Expanded in Scottsville
 

Oppourtunities in post secondary education are changing in Scottsville as Daymar College opens new Scottsville Campus in the Allen County Community Center, 311 North 3rd Street. The school will offer degree programs for students seeking training in the fielsa of business administration and technology, medial assistant and pharmacy technician.  Begining in January 2007, the school will add a criminal justice degree program. Kentucky Six Year Enacted Highway Plan Unveiled

The 2006-2012 Kentucky Six Year plan was unveiled recently, with Scottsville and Allen County  listed for several important projects.  In addition to 3 bridge replacements scheduled for construction in 2008, turning lanes for Old Gallatin Road and New Gallatin Road are scheduled for construction on 2007 and 2008.  For a listing of the projects follow this link to the location page.
